Dashboard Workbook

Setup

To view the Dashboard, go to the Side menu of the ARMS Home screen and click on Dashboard.

Dashboard

The dashboard is remarkably simple and effective. It is different for each user. Each user can customize their view to the data that they need or want to see. An administrator might want to look at the information that might be different from an Officer or Dispatcher, so this module allows them to set widgets as per their needs.

A predefined set of options are available to customize the view of widgets. These do not include all reports but are a collection of frequently used reports. It sets four pieces by default and can be changed/removed at any time by clicking on the close button on the right of each widget.

  

Add Widget

Users can select from set widgets from the available options and can be viewed as per the date range required. It has Name and Category options to search from. As of now, the Category includes four types to choose from: Arrest, Case, CAD, and Moving Citation.

After setting up a widget, the user can further view data as per different date ranges. It can be viewed as per last 7 days, last 30 days, year to date (January 1st to the current date), or year (a full 365 days). There is an auto-refresh option available that refreshes data every 5 mins,10 mins, 15 mins, or 30 mins, and it can be turned on and off. If auto refresh is turned off, then you can refresh anytime as per your need by clicking on the “Refresh now” button. You can also hover over a specific area in a chart to get the exact value for that type of data.
