ARMS Parking only supports the two device solution. Pairing a Trimble mobile computer with a belt-worn or car mounted printer is no more cumbersome than carrying a smart phone with a belt clip.
A separate printer allows the department to put more information on the citation stock than a combo machine would.
Combo printers essentially use receipt paper and cannot easily fit as much information as larger printers.
By supporting the use of separate devices, ARMS Parking allows customers greater customization over how they conduct parking citation operations.
