Error message: 'NCIC module failed to start' when I start ARMS?

To resolve the “NCIC module failed to start” behavior, stop the 'NCICQuery Server' service on the ARMS app server, then start it again. 

To do this: 

Step 1: Go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools and select 'Services'.

 

Users can also use the windows search bar to find the 'Services' Application.

 

Step 3: In Services select 'NCICQuery Server'. Then select 'Stop the Service'

Step 4: Make sure to 'Start the Service ‘again.
