FAQ: How to log onto parking handhelds?

Step 1: Plug the parking handheld into your computer and connect to Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC). Select "Connect Without Setting Up."

Step 2: After the handheld is connected, log into MCW on the handheld. 

Step 3: Sync MCW.

 

Step  4: After logging into the handheld while it is connected to the computer then the users log on will be saved to the handheld. This is a security feature to keep your entire user database from falling into the wrong hands. 

 

Step 5: To keep every officer from having to log in to each handheld, we recommend that you assign a group of officers to each device to avoid redundancy. However, aside from increased setup time, there are no downsides to having each user log into each handheld.
