What is the purpose of the Final Incident field?
To provide support for documenting occurrences where the initial reported incident can logically be changed to a different incident shortly after on-view observation by responding Units (for example, if the caller states a Robbery has occurred, however upon the arrival of an Officer, it is quickly determined the caller has experienced Larceny-Theft of a bicycle parked outside on the sidewalk overnight; or, Alarm Response becomes Burglary – Unlawful Entry after Units arrive to commercial building and observe broken door glass, lights are on, and a brick is just inside the threshold)
