If a user is receiving the below error message of,"Each of the NIBRS Victims entered must be connected to at least one NIBRS UCR Offense Code," while completing a NIBRS Review. Please check the following NIBRS Review segments, and make the changes accordingly.
While on the the Victim Segment confirm the 'Type of Victim' needs to be S-Society. If this is correct proceed to the next step.
Under the 'Victim Connected to UCR Offense Codes' the user will want to select a connected UCR Code that is on the review.
Click save, and the user will be prompted with if the change was corrected.
Be sure to verify the UCR Offense Code is the correct code in both spots before validating all segments to ensure all the data is accurate.
Once both of these segments are checked by the user, the user will be able to move on to the next NIBRS Review. If any further questions arise please contact ARMS Support.
