# Assign Time Off From Schedule Calendar

Go to the Shift Calendar and click on the "eyeball" next to any officer shift in which you want to assign Time Off.

Now click on “Edit Item” button

Select “**Assign Time Off**” and fill all required fields then click on “**Assign Time Off**” button.

You can also generate overtime shift for this Time Off. Click on **‘Yes’** button to generate overtime or click on **‘No’** button if you don’t want to create any overtime shift.

While generating overtime you can also assign a new Officer to that overtime shift.
