### Adding Contacts to the Citation

1\. People and organizations can be used as a defendant contact in a traffic citation. For this example, we will search for a person contact. Click the blue word “Defendant” to start the person search.

2\. Enter part of the person’s last name, first name, or both (A), and then click the “Search” button (B).

3\. Once a person record has been created or selected, click the “Choose” button at the top of the Person Management window.

4\. The person record will display on the citation.

- The Defendant field is mandatory.
