Adding Crimes and Dates/Times

1. One of the main reasons for escalating a call into a case is to record crime information. Click on the word “Crimes” to open the Code Picker.

2. Users can narrow down the list of crimes codes by entering part of the code section (A) or part of the offense description (B).

3. Select the code section from the results (A) then click the “Choose” button (B).

!Did You Know?
If more than one crime needs to be entered into the case, repeat steps 1-3 above to add additional crimes.

4. Enter the “Occurred from”, “to”, “Date Reported”, and “Crime Date” fields.
