Adding Crimes to a Warrant

1. Click on the blue words “Crime Types” to start a crimes code search.

2. Enter part of the code section or offense description (A), select the crimes code (B), and then click the “Choose” button (C.).

3. The crimes code will display on the warrant.

!Did You Know?

If your state allows more than one crime on a warrant, follow steps 1-2 above for each additional crime.
Crime Types is not a required field to save a warrant; however, certain warrant reports are based on this field containing data. For accurate reporting, please enter the crime type.
