Agency(s) are looked up based on the values listed in the XML tags below:

**CompanyXML File Field**

These values are then compared to the entries found in the \[Agencies\] section of the ini file. The Dispatch Call information is processed into the corresponding database path.

**Call Types**

Call Types are looked up based on the CAD\_VALUE field in our CAD\_MAPPING table. Prior to go-live, a list of all CAD Event Types and translations are loaded into the CAD\_MAPPING table. When processing a Call, the CADMonitor looks up the CAD\_VALUE and then displays the CAD\_TRANSLATION in the Call Type field.

**Officers/Dispatchers**

Officers and Dispatchers are looked up based on the mappings set in the \[Officers\] section of the ini file. The format is: Unit Number=Badge Number. The value entered as the “Badge Number “ in the ini file must be entered in the “Badge Number” field in the Personnel Module for the corresponding Officer/Dispatcher. Unit Numbers that have no matching entry are automatically added to the ini file for future mapping purposes.
