1\. Search for the paper you wish to record a payment against by using the steps found in the [Searching for an Existing Paper](https://www.manula.com/manuals/in-synch-systems/in-synch-rms-manual/1/en/topic/searching-for-an-existing-paper) section of this chapter. Once the paper has been found, highlight the paper in the results grid (A), and then click the “Payments” button (B).

2\. Enter the payment details (A), and then click the “Save” button (B).
