Property Disposal
1. Property Disposal is used to show that property is no longer in custody. To dispose of property, search using one of the techniques shown earlier. Once the search has completed, highlight the property item (A), then select “Property Disposal” from the Property Management drop down list (B).
2. Enter the Disposal Date/Time, Justification, and Description. These are all required fields.
3. There are three types of property disposal available in tabs at the bottom of the Disposal details window; Return to Owner, Disposal by Auction, or Disposal by Destruction.
