Resetting a Password

Passwords can only be reset by users with access to Security Management.

1. Click on the “Security” button from the main RMS toolbar to open Security Management.

2. Select the username from the Users column (A), and then press the “Set Password” button (B).

3. Type in a temporary password (A), click the “Force user to change password on first login” checkbox (B), and press the “Set Password” button to save ( C ).

4. Tell the User the temporary password that was set. When they log in, the system will launch the Change Password module for them, and require them to change their password. Users can follow the directions in the Change Password section to set their own password.
