Security Groups

Each user must belong to at least one security group. There are four (4) main security groups and two (2) optional groups.

Administrators – Full access
Supervisor – Medium access (Can approve calls/cases)
Officer – Limited access (Can enter calls/cases/citations)
Clerk – Very limited access (Can enter calls/citations/warrants)

Optional groups must be used in conjunction with one of the four (4) main groups listed above.

Criminal Investigators – Gives additional access to Confidential Informant Management.
Evidence – Gives additional access to Property Management.

Rights to individual modules can be granted or denied for any user. Contact your trainer or the In-Synch Systems Helpdesk at 1-800-243-6540 x ext. 1 for more information.

1. Highlight the group from the “Available” column (A), and then click the “Add” button (B).

2. The group will now show in the Member column (A). Click the “Save” button (B) to save the new officer’s login details.
