- REQUIREMENTS
- The following instructions assume you either generated or were provided a Crime Code Update Plan for the specific agency. If you don’t have one please generate or obtain one before proceeding.
- Necessary Files For This Task
- PACrimesCodesOfficial.xls
- List of NEW Crime Codes Being Added From the State List of Codes
- List of EXISTING Crime Codes Being Updated to Contain New IBRS Values
- List of EXISTING Crime Codes Being Updated to Contains New SRS Values (typically same file as directly above)
- PERFORMING THE UPDATE
- The process is fairly straightforward once you have the necessary files. The picture below illustrates the button you click at each numeric step.
