INTRODUCTION
In-Synch RMS (RMS) offers a crime mapping module that allows for the transfer of case information from the RMS to the RISS Secure Intranet (RISSNET). This document provides specifications on the information exchange. More information can be found here: RISS Website
PURPOSE OF THE SOFTWARE
The exporting of relevant case data from the RMS to update the RISSNET intelligence databases.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Hardware Requirements
- An active Internet connection.
OS/Software Requirements
- In-Synch RMS version xxx or higher is required for an agency to utilize the Crime Mapping module.
- A default mail provider and a valid email address are required to deliver the data to RISSNET.
DATA EXCHANGE SPECIFICATIONS
The Magloclen Crime Mapping interface is launched by selecting the “Crime Map” from main In-Synch RMS toolbar.
*The Crime Map module is not on the In-Synch RMS Toolbar by default.
Enter a date range (A) and then select the “OK” button (B).
The exported data is labeled by ORI and date range and emailed to bulkupload@magloclen.riss.net as an .xls attachment.
The data fields exported to RISSNET are:

- Crime Event Date
- Subject Last Name
- Subject First Name
- Subject Middle Name
- Subject Suffix
- Subject Height
- Subject Weight
- Subject Eye Color
- Subject Hair Color
- Subject Sex
- Subject Race
- Subject SSN
- Subject DOB
- Moniker
- AKA Last name
- AKA First name
- AKA Middle
- AKA Suffix
- Organization
- Organization City
- Organization State
- Driver License Number
- Driver License State
- State ID Number
- FBI Number
- Alien Number
- Location Type
- Location County
- Location Street Direction
