Error Message: "Application Could Not be Started. Please Contact System Vendor" when trying to install the ARMS client.

The application could not be started. Please contact System Vendor

If a user receives this error message, they probably have another version of ARMS installed on their workstation. They will need to uninstall this previous version of ARMS before they can continue to install the newest version.

To uninstall existing version-

Step 1: Go to File Explorer, navigate to the path - C:\Users\(Your username here)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\System Tools

Or Users can also use the Windows search feature to find it. Search for any programs with the label “ARMS V2" or "ARMS V2 R3"

Step 2: After restarting go to the department's web deployment link or installation folder in which the user was trying to install ARMS and try to start the Installation again.
