To get Authentication Services up and running again an IIS restart is needed.
To restart your IIS Server, click on the Windows icon and search for Command Prompt. Right-click Command Prompt and run this as an administrator.
Once you have Command Prompt open, run the command IISReset. The command will run, and you should get the same output as shown below.
