My department is using a video software with a propriety video format. Does ARMS support this format?
ARMS is setup to play many Windows media player formats but since we do not have access to every Codec of every proprietary video format, we allow your users to store their videos within ARMS, but will not be able to play them. In this case, you will only need the video player on the local machines and to play the videos, the users can be given the permission to pull this data down from the server and play on their local machines using those players. You will have no need to upload the player with every video.
If you are unable to play a video, you will want to compare it to videos that have played in the past. Is this new video a different file type? Are you able to download the video to your local machine (right click -> Save As) and play the video via Window Media Player?
