If a user receives 3.15.4 error message when completing a NIBRS Review then please make the following changes to the affected case.
This error message is indicating that the user will need to change which property description was "Stolen" ,"Recovered" in the case. If the UCR Offense Code is a 23A or 23B, the listed descriptions in the above error message can not be selected.
**Note: Someone can not pick pocket a "05" (Buses), so this property description should not be selected for that UCR Offense code. If the description was selected in error, modify the review and match the property description to the case.
In the example provided below the UCR Offense Code is 23A. The property description "Money" was "Stolen" so this combination will save with no errors.
Click save on the NIBRS Review after confirming the correct codes were selected in the drop down boxes and the value of the property was inputted. If everything checks out the user will be prompted with a success message.
Proceed with finishing the NIBRS review, or move to the next case.
